INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - SAFETY, QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT
In August 2003, following an intensive external audit, we became accredited to the following prestigious standards:-
OHSAS 18001 in Safety. Certificate No.80020C
ISO 9001 in Quality. Certificate No. 80020A
ISO 14001 in Environment. Certificate No. 80020B
In order to maintain our achievement to these standards, there are minimum requirements with which we must comply. We are committed to compliance with the requirements of these standards, and we view these requirements as Best Practise benchmarks in our drive to maintain our cycle of continual improvement across all areas of our business.
To assist us to maintain required standards and achieve continual improvement we have implemented the following measures:-
Internal Auditing - Formal audits are undertaken against an audit schedule for safety, quality and environment. Findings and recommendations are reviewed at Departmental and Board Meetings.
External auditing - Our independent Health & Safety Consultants, undertake formal, scheduuled safety audits on our behalf. Findings and recommendations are reviewed at Departmental and Board Meetings.
Hierarchy Monitoring is undertaken by Directors, Managers and Supervisors. Findings are reviewed at the monthly Contracts Department Meetings attended by the contracts Team and Managing Director.
Integrated & Safety Management System - a bespoke Integrated Management System has been prepared for us by our Quality and Environmental Advisors, and a bespoke Safety Management System has been prepared for us by our Safety Consultants. These systems comply with the ISO standards and reflect the business activities which we undertake, detailing procedures and best practise.
Allied receive professional advice to ensure that we are always up to date with the latest industry developments and regulations.
We are please to announce that we retained our triple accreditation following an audit in June 2007.
